To my astonishment

Let me start by explaining the title of my blog, and my first post, 'to my astonishment'. I am of the view that blogs are a form of exhibitionism, or a desperate attempt at seeking attention. Maybe it is my elusiveness when it comes to what goes on in the recesses of my mind that has led me to find the idea of blogging repulsive, or perhaps it is just my preoccupation with abnormality. Howsoever, I have found blogs quite anomalous, that not in an impressive light. And I hold the view, even though I am now blogging myself. This is my first, and chances are that it will also be my last. I don't know what led me to even consider writing a blog; and that i actually went ahead with it is to my astonishment.



On second thought, this could be a good platform to refine my writing skills. I hope to write a book someday. When i sit down to write, I often gravely drift from what I started. Perhaps under a compulsion to produce something comprehensive and complete, I can improve on the one shortcoming I have...
